The goal of Emcomm East is to:

  • Develop new ideas and approaches to problem solving
  • Provide both leading edge and topical presentations
  • Create opportunities to connect with individuals and organizations involved in amateur radio emergency communications throughout the Northeast.

Conference Format

The EmComm East Conference Committee encourages amateur radio operators, served agencies, and others involved in emergency communication to submit presentation proposals for general interest sessions.

Presentation Formats

Sessions will be 60 minutes in length. Please allow 10 minutes for questions and answers.

Timeline

  • Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis, first come, first serve.
  • The program committee will decide which proposals will be accepted, and will notify presenters shortly thereafter.
  • All presenters must submit their completed PowerPoint presentation to the program committee by September 1.
