We have very exciting news about EmComm East! We have set a date and secured a location for the conference. EmComm East will be held on September 20, 2008 at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. Please save the date. We will be announcing a call for programs, as well as registration details soon. Also, if you are a vendor and are interested in selling amateur radio equipment and accessories, we want you! EmComm East promises to be an excellent opportunity for amateur radio operators involved in emergency communication. Amateur Radio Emergency Communications (or EmComm) plays an important
role in helping disaster relief organizations communicate when land
lines, cell phones, and other traditional modes of communication become
overloaded or fail.
