role in helping disaster relief organizations communicate when land
lines, cell phones, and other traditional modes of communication become

We have very exciting news about EmComm East! We have set a date and secured a location for the conference. EmComm East will be held on September 20, 2008 at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. Please save the date. We will be announcing a call for programs, as well as registration details soon. Also, if you are a vendor and are interested in selling amateur radio equipment and accessories, we want you! EmComm East promises to be an excellent opportunity for amateur radio operators involved in emergency communication.
